Milestones and God's Timing

Dear Friends,

We are thankful for your prayers and praise God for how He is opening doors! As the pandemic seems to be winding down around the world, Thailand is also following suit, although a bit slower than other countries, but we know God's timing, even when delayed, has purposes, which is often for our faith in Him to grow as we wait.

We are thankful for:

  • Kimberly's growing baking class which has helped build relationships (locals and a few new American singles who have come to join the work here)

  • Developing relationships with a few locals.

  • Villages that are beginning to be more receptive to visitors

  • Our first invitation to visit a friend and her family in their village about 30 minutes from us.

  • A developing relationship with a neighbor

Milestones

Luke is now a high school graduate and will be transitioning back to the States this summer. He has grown (and continues to grow) into a fine young man who loves the Lord. Luke has a part-time job lined up and will take some time to work and pray about God's leading for his future. He's gifted in language (Chinese and Thai) and has had the opportunity to participate in sports while here. We're thankful to the Lord for the privilege of living and serving in Asia.

As Luke soon begins his transition to the States, the Lord has provided for us to spend the summer in the States. We are looking forward to joining Wesley and being back together as a family soon, which will allow us to help Luke get settled and spend time with our parents and adult daughters. We arrive the evening of May 29.

Ways to Pray:

  • Needed: Housing and a vehicle for the summer.

  • Wise stewardship of our time the next few weeks as there's much to do before we leave.

  • For the country to proceed with opening. We have an invitation to travel with Christian Thai friends to unreached villages when we return.

  • Kimberly's mother begins radiation today.

  • For Wesley's dad to continue to improve.

  • Luke as he transitions back to the States.

  • Stewardship of our summer.

We praise God for what He has done and will continue to do!

That All May Hear,

Wesley, Kimberly,

Luke, Lydia, Micah and Ezra
