Meet and Join

We are excited to enter our fourth month with the Harvest Bakery & Café! This has been exciting, exhausting, rewarding, and draining. We are grateful for the sustaining grace of the Lord!

Meet Lazaro

Lazaro was among the first to be hired as a baker's apprentice. He came to America from Cuba seven months ago. He fled his communist country in the hope of a better life. Though his vocabulary is growing, Lazaro has little English, so we use Google Translate daily to communicate - a lot! We're thankful that Lazaro considers us his family. Lazaro's favorite baked good to make and to eat is our Cinnamon Babka with Maple Glaze.

You are invited!

Our grand opening is this Friday. The ribbon cutting will occur at 11 a.m. and is conducted by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. We would love for you to join us in this celebration!

If you haven't had the opportunity to patronize the bakery, we'd love for you to come by to see us, buy some artisan bread, cake, or have breakfast or lunch! We have a small but unique, high-quality menu selection.

Mark your calendars for this special celebration!

We desire to make an impact in the lives of our employees and customers for the glory of the Lord. We are grateful to our partners and the Lord, who has helped make this possible!

Some of our current needs include:
  • Financial Partners. Though it's the goal, we're far from being sustainable. Pray about giving or increasing your giving. Share this ministry with your friends so they have the opportunity to join us in changing lives, as well!

  • Outdoor iron furniture with umbrellas and stands. If you're upgrading your patio furniture and want to donate your older (but still good) furniture, please let us know.

  • Display cooler for the front $1,200

  • Deep freezer. $680

  • A commercial dishwasher $6,000. Yes, we are washing all those dishes by hand.

Your prayers and financial gifts are appreciated! We hope to see many of you this Friday!

That All May Hear,

Wesley and Kimberly
