Join Us in Special Prayer

Grace and Peace in the name of our Savior,

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today marks our fourth day of mandatory quarantine in Bangkok which is going well. This morning we learned that Thailand has imposed one month lockdown restrictions in 28 "red zone" provinces which includes Bangkok. While our city of Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand has experienced very few cases and isn't among the restricted provinces, the local government will begin to limit from the red zones into Chiang Rai. Our contacts at the school believe we can still get there despite the restrictions and will be working over the next few days to figure out what that will look like for us and help us through this.

We are resolved to stay focused on our Lord's instructions, and we can do so by living with an understanding that His return is imminent, so we must live with clear purpose and urgency as eternal souls are at stake. Cole Richards of The Voice of the Martyrs recently wrote: "As biblical disciples, our lives are meant to be a continual stream of choices and activities that loudly proclaim the gospel . . . Regardless of what happens in the fallen world, two things are certain: 1. We still have a Lord and 2. His instructions remain very clear."

Late tomorrow morning we will take our first mandatory, in-quarantine RT PCR Covid test. Results will be in the following evening. If negative then we're allowed the privilege of leaving our room for one hour to sit/walk around the lounge/pool area. Our final test will be on the the 11th with scheduled departure on the 15th.

Please keep praying for the people of Thailand, the government officials, our city of Chiang Rai, and for us as we attempt to maneuver our way through all of this.
